Stacks sorted. Categories organized. Boxes unpacked. Volunteers moving quickly.
The Friends of the Urbana Regional Library, Inc. (FURL) are preparing for our Spring 2026 Used Book Sale, and we hope you’ll join us.
📅 When:
Saturday, March 28: 10am–5pm
(FURL Members may enter at 9am. If you’d like early access on this day, consider becoming a Friend of the Library. Membership is a one-time $10 lifetime fee with no obligations; just a simple way to support the library and receive early entry to our sales, though volunteering is always welcomed and appreciated!)
Sunday, March 29: 1pm–5pm

As always, the sale will include thousands of gently used books and DVDs across all categories — from children’s favorites to nonfiction, cookbooks, history, fiction, and more.
💰 Prices:
Most books are $1 or less.
DVDs are 10 for $5.
Sunday Special: Fill a tote bag with books for just $5 is usually 3pm-5pm on this day! (For updates on the bag sale/depending on inventory, follow our Facebook page.)
Why it matters:
These Spring and Fall sales are how FURL raises funds to support programs, events, and improvements at the Urbana Regional Library throughout the year. Every purchase goes directly back into our local library.
📚 Donations Welcome!
We also accept gently used book and DVD donations year-round. Donations can be dropped off with a librarian or at any circulation desk during regular library hours. Tax-deductible receipts are available.
