Fall Used Book Sale Returns to Urbana Regional Library October 3-4, 2026

Join us for the Fall 2026 Used Book Sale on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4! Browse thousands of gently used books (most priced at $1 or less) and DVDs (10 for $5) in the Community Room on the lower level of Urbana Regional Library. The sale opens to the general public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with Friends of Urbana Regional Library (FURL) members invited to shop an hour early at 9 a.m. Become a lifetime member for just $10, donate your gently used books and DVDs year-round, or simply stop by to support your local library.

This weekend FURL was scheduled to host the Fall book sale. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus pandemic forced us to cancel our sale for the second time this year. “The changing times require FURL as a nonprofit to adapt, so we have kicked off our first ever donation based fundraising campaign” says Katie Esposito, FURL President.
